WOW! What an exciting time for you and the family. I wish you guys the best of luck. I loved it when I went to school for the summer at Cambridge many years ago. I'll send good vibes your way and look forward to hearing about your adventure.

Wow, so exciting! Cheers & good luck!!

Wowie! I will be in London in October. Going to Ally Pally (big fiber fest) Have friends in the area for you to meet. Best of luck!!!!

Congratulations Sam!! That is so exciting! Heck, if I had to pick a city to live in in Europe, London would be one of the tops on my list! Plus, lots of knitters too!! Can't wait!

Oh, my! Wishing you smooth transitions! City? Suburbs? Wow!

Being an expat is a big adventure - enjoy it. My suggestion is to figure out where the kids are going to school, and then live close by. I've been an expat, and if I was having a "do-over", I would have placed the kids in a school where they learnt their home country curriculum. The move back home can be a mite challenging if it also includes a curriculum change...

How exciting! I love London! SO much of our country's history is tied to theirs that it makes visiting their historic landmarks that much more fascinating. What an incredible opportunity for your kids too! Tom and I visited there a few years ago and had a fantastic time. How long will you be there? Is it a temporary job or a permanent job? And just think, you can go to Knit Nation!

That is so exciting! Good luck, have fun!

WE left Redmond in 1994, very hard to do it is a unique place, but the place you are going to is a more unique and wonderful experience for all of you. We downsized so much, and there are always storage places for things you can't get rid of and don't want to move. Wow!! you will be in knitters paradise.

Congratulations! that sounds like an exciting adventure for your family. Prayers for a safe and happy move. I hope you love it!

What a tremendous opportunity! I can't wait to hear about all of your cool adventures. London is a great town. You're going to have a ball.

Good luck -- once you get settled in it will be such a fun experience for you and your kids! My family spent a year just outside London (I was 15, my brother was 8) and it was a totally transformative experience. Lots of fun things to see and do.

Congratulations!! How exciting!! Can't wait to see all the photoshoots with London as the backdrop!! Best wishes!

This is crazy! I've read your blog from beginning to end, and I must say, I LOVE your patterns! I found you through the Icing pattern, and I am glad I did. I hope all is going well with the move, and I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

Congratulations and all the best with the actual moving. How long will you be there? Will you be able to take Moxie?

What a wonderful adventure! I look forward to your blogs after you get settled. We'll miss seeing you here in the PNW, but it sounds like a postive move, at least after your head stops spinning.
